La Foret in Black Forest, outside of Colorado Springs, was perfect for an afternoon music festival.

Leo and I with big smiles in the sun, so wonderful to be in the middle of a forest — a sun drenched meadow for frolicking hippies. Wish I was kidding, I’m not, it really was an idyllic location for a lovely afternoon.

When in doubt, jump on a tractor and smile!

Mature trees smell good.

Big smiles all around, Leo and I had a superb time with his dad and girlfriend. We enjoyed ourselves at the Meadowgrass music festival. If you’re in the area next memorial day, I highly recommend it. We saw The Barr Brothers (awesome), Dan Hicks and his hotlicks (old school fun), and Chubby Carrier (best dancing music ever).
